Got to the beach and found Steve out with his 5.3m and Nick tigging a 5.7m, so I went out on my 5.7m and big board. A little underpowered to start with and then the wind dropped off even more so we sat in the car park waiting. Eventually it filled in as the rain came and I had a good time well powered up blasting in and out through the surf. Nothing outstanding, some good gybes off the waves but nothing else worth noting really. Nick seemed to disappear just as it got good... Must have had a better offer somewhere else.
